Tennis Club by the Lake
Tennis by the Lake is a tennis club on the shore of Lake Herăstrău, in King Mihai I Park, Bucharest, with three clay courts and programs for kids, adults and performance players. From a player's very first tennis lesson to competitive preparation, training is built around each player's level and goals, guided by coaches with direct experience in professional ATP and WTA tennis. It's one of the few tennis clubs in Bucharest offering a complete path — from a first step on court to the Road to US College Tennis.

Tennis by the Lake's kids programs are designed for ages 5 to 11 and combine learning technique with play, coordination and progressive development. Small groups, of 2 to 6 children, are organized by age and level, and training takes place on the club's clay courts in Herăstrău Park, Bucharest — a safe, motivating environment for a child's first steps in tennis. Many kids who start here go on to the performance program, under the same coaches.

Tennis by the Lake's performance program is dedicated to juniors and players pursuing competitive development, from a junior's first tournaments to ITF competitions. Preparation integrates technical, tactical and mental development, the coaches' direct experience in professional ATP and WTA tennis, and a path adapted to each athlete's goals — including for those pursuing the Road to US College Tennis in the United States.

Play tennis in Bucharest, on clay courts right on the shore of Lake Herăstrău. Tennis by the Lake's courts can be booked for open play, and in the cold season two of them are covered, so training can continue year-round. Tennis coaches with experience from the professional circuit, carried forward to the next generation of players — at Tennis Club by the Lake, Bucharest.
A tennis coach with international experience preparing performance players, Cosmin Georgescu spent over 5 years at the Günter Bresnik Tennis Academy, working within the training environment of players such as Dominic Thiem, Ernests Gulbis and Marius Copil. At Tennis by the Lake, he coordinates the performance tennis programs in Bucharest, junior development, and preparation for players pursuing ITF, ATP, WTA competitions or the Road to US College Tennis.

With experience in professional tennis and as a sparring partner for Simona Halep, including in the context of tournaments such as Roland Garros and Wimbledon, Andrei Săvulescu brings tour-level experience straight to the Tennis by the Lake courts. He works with kids, juniors and adults, from a player's first tennis lesson to technical and competitive development, in a program adapted to each player, on the clay courts of Herăstrău, Bucharest.
